Gone are the days when a student passes a B.E or MCA final exam then he/she gets a job. These days due to intense competition in the job market, especially the IT job market, it is very difficult to get a job. All the companies ask for a minimum two years of experience. Even if they are willing to hire freshers they want the students to have basic aptitude for maths, english, and logical reasoning.
Many colleges teach C, C++, and Java. But the maximum number of job offers for freshers in the .NET domain. There are also plenty of opportunities in the hardware and networking domain.
To bridge the gap between college students and the IT job market, few institutes like SLA have taken up concrete measures. SLA conducts courses in .NET, A+, N+, CCNA, MCSE, MCSM. SLA also trains students in aptitude skills and corporate attitude. SLA also offers real-time projects and trains students on practical projects.
